Ultrasound therapy is necessary if you are to gain maximum efficiency in treating low back pain as associated with decompression therapy. The Evolution DT™ protocol for decompression therapy patients is to administer ultrasound prior to each decompression therapy treatment to relax the muscles and EMS following each treatment to alleviate any possibility of muscle spasms.
The Hill Labs HF54 Hands-Free Ultrasound System was designed to save hours of time compared to manual ultrasound. The unit has one of the most revolutionary features in the industry in the reusable gel pad. The gel pad eliminates the need for messy gels and contours to curved areas of the body as your need may demand. Both ultrasound and muscle stimulation will conduct through the gel pad.
The HF54 eliminates the two most common application errors associated with a traditional manual ultrasound treatment. These errors have been shown to reduce the effectiveness of ultrasound. The HF54 eliminates the two following errors and therefore provides a superior ultrasound treatment.
- Treating for less than 10 minutes.- Treating too large of a surface area.
The HF54 produces an even distribution of sound waves throughout its large (3 5/8") soundhead. Two channels of interferential and premod current are included with the unit. Premod can be used in combination with ultrasound directly through 1 or 2 soundheads.
The Horizon, a powerful 2" diameter red(660nm) and infrared(880nm) light probe is available as a plug-in with the HF54 or as a Standalone. Stimulation, both soundheads and Horizon light therapy can be used at the same time.
